1. How do I email my LES?
A. For emailing your LES click here for instructions.

2. What do I need to do to get a military loan?
A. Just apply and email or fax your month end Les.

3. Who is eligible for a military loan?
A. All active-duty and career-retired military personnel.

4. How long after applying will I receive an answer?
A. You will receive an answer by email within 4 business hours after we receive your application and Les.

5. How much can I borrow?
A. From $500 to $5,000 .

6. Are there up front application fees for military loans?
A. No, your application will be processed with no up front fees.

7. Can I ask for a military loan if I'm stationed overseas?
A. Yes, just apply and email or fax your LES.

8. How do I make my payments to you?
A. By convenient allotments, no monthly checks to write, so you don't risk having to pay any late fees.

9. How do I start my allotment?

10. What if I forgot or lost my password and/or login?
A. If you have lost or forgot your login (email) and/or password just click on “Forgot password” under the login screen. If you need additional assist please call our customer service department at 1-800-706-9676 and we can reset your password for you.

11. Do I need any type of collateral for the military loan?
A. Absolutely not!

12. What happens when I've paid off my military loan and need another loan?
A. Great news! Your second loan will have a discount off the current interest rate and your loan approval is almost instantaneous. It's our way of showing our appreciation to loyal customers.

13. Do I have to buy life, accident, or health insurance as a condition of a military loan?
A. No.

14. When will I get my $$$?
A. After we receive your completed loan packet, and our finance department verifies the information you submitted and if your allotment is in place you will be funded the same day.

15. Refinance - will I have 2 loans?
A. If you have a current loan with Armed Forces Loans you can refinance to get additional funds. The payoff balance of your current loan will become part of a new loan.

16. What is the Pre-payment penalty on my loan?
A. There is no prepayment penalty if you pay off your early.

17. How much interest do you charge?
A. The cost of your loan is determined by several factors, your credit report, your cash flow, your income, as well as your credit history with AFL. To determine the monthly cost of your loan you will need to apply online at www.afl.net, send your LES as an email attachment to admin@armedforcesloas.com or fax it to 702-868-6246 or 800 698-0914. You will receive an email or phonecall informing the cost of your loan within 4 business hours of receiving your application and LES. There is no charge or obligation to you.

18. How can I change my personal info?
A. Please email your new information to admin@armedforcesloans.com or call 800-706-9676

19. How much can I apply for?
A. You should apply for the amount you need. Your loan officer will determine the loan program you best qualify for, the amount and cost of your loan.

20. Can I get my balance online?
A. Yes, login using your email and password at www.afl.net click on “my account menu” then continue by clicking on “my monthly statement” to view your balance and payment history

21. How do I apply for more funds?
A. The process is much shorter and faster once you have established credit with us, login using your email and password at www.afl.net click on “my account menu” then continue by clicking on “My loan status” to view your eligibility. As well you can email or call us to find out if you have made sufficient payments or can payoff your previous loan, to be eligible for additional funds. Once you find out if you are eligible just fill out an online application and send your most recent Month end LES. Within 4 business hours of receiving your application and LES, you should hear from your loan officer.

22. What are your hours of operations?
A. We are open Monday – Friday from 7am-6pm. These hours are based on Pacific Standard Time, except for all legal Holidays.

23. What is my home of Record address?
A. It is the address where you lived prior to joining the military.

24. Why is the APR higher than the interest rate?
A. The APR (annual percentage rate) is the total annual percentage rate cost of your loan. This includes any up front fees as well as interest, which is itemized in your loan disclosure statement.

25. How many payments do I have to make before I can reapply?
A. Eligibility for additional funds is determined on how many payments you have made, if they were on time and by allotment. Changes in your credit report and cash flow also affect your approval. Contact your loan officer to find out if you are eligible. However, if you need the funds for an emergency, you can always fill out an application at www.afl.net and send your most recent month end LES and you will receive a reply within 4 business hours.

26. If I have bad credit?
A. At Armed Forces Loans we have a flexible approach towards evaluating your loan application. Unless there are some serious issues with your credit history, we try our best to say yes.

27. I refused my loan by accident
A. Ok, would you like us to resend you the loan documents? If yes, please send us a request at admin@armedforcesloans.com

28. What is my account number?
A. Each loan number is unique. Please refer to your loan documents or call us at 800-706-9676

29. Can I make a payment by credit card?
A. We have partnered with Money Gram to provide Quick Collect Payment Services using your credit card. Just contact any Money Gram office. Don’t forget to enter our receive code 3881 on your payment slip. You can also make a payment through www.moneygram.com or call us to a pay with a check.

30. Can I re-apply for a lower amount if I have been denied?
A. We consider all possible loan options during the evaluation process. If you have additional information not provided on the initial application that would be helpful, please email us at admin@armedforcesloans.com

31. Do I need to fill out a new loan application?
A. Yes. If you wish to apply for additional funds you must submit a new application at www.afl.net

32. Am I eligible to apply for a loan?
A. We accept, process and consider all loan applications from active-duty and career-retired service members. If you are currently active-duty and career-retired and wish to submit an application, visit us at www.afl.net

33. How do I get a refund if my allot did not stop?
A. Please call us at 800-706-9676 and we will refund the extra payments received to your account.

34. How will I pay for my loan?
A. You pay back your loan by convenient monthly allotments, which are easy and insure that your payments arrive to us on time and avoid late fees and delinquency reporting to the credit bureaus.

35. How long before I hear from you?
A. We provide the BEST and FASTEST service, and will try to respond to you by e-mail within 4 hours of receiving your completed application, and LES.

36. What should I do if my email is not working?
A. If your email is not working, please call our customer service department to update your account with a working email address. There are many web sites where you can obtain a free email address. These are 3 of the most popular: yahoo.com, msn.com, and hotmail.com.

37. Have you received my fax?
A. If we did not receive your fax, you will be contacted by phone or email.

38. What should I do if the information on my Credit report is wrong?
A. We have no control over how quickly the individual reporting agencies update their information. You can contact the reporting agency directly and file a dispute with them. They will send that information to us and we will report any errors. This is the fastest way to resolve any differences.

39. Can I make additional payments?
A. If you'd like to make an additional payment at any time, please login using your email and password at www.afl.net click on “my account menu” then continue by clicking on “make a payment” or mail it to Armed Forces Loans of Nevada Inc. at 3824 S Jones Blvd. Suite G, Las Vegas, NV 89103. Please include the last 4 digits of your social security number with any payments you send by mail. To insure that your payment is posted to your account the same day, you can pay with a check by phone at no additional cost

40. Is The Sailor and soldiers relief act applicable to my loan?
A. The Sailor's and Soldiers Civil Relief Act is not applicable to our customers since you must be on active-duty and career-retired, eligible for a loan, and sign a confirmation that you are on active-duty and career-retired. The relief act is waved when you accept the loan.

41. Do you accept additional income, if my existing income is not sufficient?
A. We normally do not accept income from a second job. If your debt-to-income ratio is high, we will accept income from your spouse (providing they have been employed for at least 90 days and can provide a current pay stub).

42. Account status
A. After your information is received and processed, you can login using your email and password at www.afl.net and you can view your application status. You will be receiving an email from the loan officer within 4 business hours as well. You can also check the status of your loan by calling 800-706-9676

43. What is my payoff balance?
A. To find out your payoff amount please login using your email and password at www.afl.net click on “my account menu” then continue by clicking on “make a payment” choosing amount select payoff and your payoff amount will show in the field below. 44. How will I receive my loan packet?
A. Your loan packet will be online, login using your email and password at www.afl.net click on “my account menu” then continue by clicking on “My Loan Documents” you can fill them out inline and summit them before you print and mail all pages.
